The vision at SCMI differs from other musical institutions in that our priority is to teach people to appreciate and to love music.

The faculty at SCMI is carefully selected. Each faculty member not only has a wealth of experience in performance, but also a background in theory, music history, and more.

Our mission is to spread the love and appreciation for music through the education of performance, composition, theory, and listening with the highest level of faculty. We teach students of every level, from music enthusiasts to conservatory level musicians.
